The HAC Green Key ecolabel represents the results of a voluntary, self-administered audit of a hotel's environmental impacts. On completion of an online questionnaire, a rating of 1-5 Green Keys is generated.
Questionnaire covers: energy conservation, water conservation, solid waste management, hazardous waste management, indoor air quality, community outreach, building infrastructure, land use, and environmental management.
